HELLO!
We are Jordy, Elizabeth, and Emilia Nunez...missionaries to Estonia! In Tallinn, Estonia we are opening a specialty coffee shop alongside a church planting team. Using our love for coffee and passion for the lost, we are creatively establishing ways to plant churches in the Eurasia Northwest area. The coffee shop will be a space for community, inspiration, and mission.
OUR STORY
Our story began in 2007 when Jordy, from Miami, Florida, moved to Minnesota to play college football. There, he met Elizabeth and soon found Jesus. Jordy got saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and called to missions. Elizabeth found Christ at a young age and realized her call to missions as a teenager. Our backgrounds are vastly different, but our love for God and His mission is what brought us together. For the last seven years, we have worked at Trinity Bible College and Graduate School in North Dakota where we started a short-term missions program (PackYourBags), led marketing and enrollment efforts, and served on the college’s Leadership Team.
OUR MINISTRY
In Estonia we will open a specialty coffee shop alongside a church planting team in the capital city of Tallinn. This shop will provide a welcoming environment to organically build relationships. It will be a “third place” aside from home and work where people can enjoy quality coffee, exchange ideas, and experience God’s love. We are passionate about coffee— everything from the science of it to sourcing and serving it, but our passion for the lost is much greater. We believe that God will do a great work in Estonia and that people will come to know Him.
ABOUT ESTONIA
Old world meets new world in this beautiful Northern European country. Formerly occupied by the Soviet Union, today Estonia is known as the least religious country in the world. The Estonian people have experienced centuries of oppression and occupation and today God has no place in hearts, homes, or society. As children, they are taught that God is a myth. Although they became an independent nation in 1991, most have never experienced the true freedom that Christ brings.
This coffee shop is just the beginning. We hope this begins a church planting movement in the Eurasia Northwest region.
